In 1902, King Oscar tasted the sardines of a small Norwegian canning company for the first time. He was impressed. So impressed that he offered the company his most valuable possession: his name. From that moment on, we wore King Oscar’s title with pride. Over 100 years later, that same small canning company now sells products all over the world, staying true to what the king first saw in us: quality, provenance and craft.

Whether it’s sardines, mackerel, tuna, salmon, shrimp or lobster, we take great pride in everything we produce and hold every product to the very highest standards. Sustainably, we select only the world’s finest seafood, because when you’ve been lucky enough to be bestowed a name like ours, you make sure your seafood is fit for a king.
